Our Dedicated Team
Our dedicated team of Acoustic Engineers are supported by our Innovation and Design Team and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our solutions to successfully reduce and control noise problems in a vast range of demanding environments. Because we assign a dedicated team to all of our projects and develop solutions in partnership with each of our clients, Ventac is always working to refine current products and create innovative new material composites and product solutions that are required to meet the needs and industry demands of our customers.
Ventac’s composite materials and product solutions are fine-tuned to address the specific noise and frequencies being emitted from our client’s vehicles. Supported by our Vehicle Acoustic Test Program, each of the 400+ different component materials used in our solutions are performance validated and tested within our Innovation & Acoustic Laboratories, prior to their installation on our customer’s vehicles. This process allows Ventac determine the acoustic performance of their composite materials and components and assign them to the correct frequencies determined from the Acoustic Vehicle Test Program. This ensures the most effective and high-performance noise control solution is provided. All of our solutions are tailor-made for the customer and specifically designed in partnership with their engineering and technical teams to ensure their key problems are being addressed.

Treating Noise Source
There are typically multiple noise sources to be considered in a vehicle engine bay. Characterisation of the relative importance of these sources and their frequency profile is critical to effectively treat the vehicle. The noise source must be treated in a manner consistent with the good operation of the machine.
Effective Material Choice
The acoustic treatment combinations are chosen to be the most effective at treating the noise frequencies generated by the source. The materials are chosen to be appropriate for their environment, to withstand the harsh conditions of an engine bay or meet the aesthetic requirements of a passenger compartment.
