HistoryAn overview of our journey to where we are now
Ventac was originally founded in 1972. In this time we have gained considerable experience and expertise in designing and manufacturing Noise Control Solutions.
Ventac originally started out as purely a commercial and industrial ventilation business. As fans became more complex and with high-spec airflow management systems being introduced, noise became more and more of an issue due to increasing environmental and noise at work legislation. Ventac’s first Acoustic Laboratory was built in 1998.
In 2002 the Company moved to the existing location in Blessington where a state of the art Acoustic Laboratory was opened in 2003. This facility is equipped to carry out a full range of acoustic and airflow testing on a wide range of products. It has also allowed us develop extensive material and composite knowledge and be aware of the latest materials available to the market and how they perform acoustically.
In 2013, the decision was made to extract the Ventilation Division to enable the company concentrate on developing the export side of the business.
