Ventac has extensive experience in providing noise control solutions for standard machinery noise sources but in certain circumstances it has had to combine this knowledge with the experience of vehicle noise control work. This is illustrated by some of the examples below.

Trailer Refrigeration Units
The work on these units was very similar to work in vehicles where the demands of space, weight and good operation of the unit are limiting factors

Car-ferry Ventilation Noise
The work in this project required the specification and installation of ‘building services’ noise control measures in a maritime vessel with all the associated requirements including the marine grade standard.

Medical Device Testing
The work in this case was not to reduce noise but to quantify the sound power level of a unit that was barely audible. This required the use of our the test Reverberation Chambers in our Acoustic Laboratory.
