The agricultural vehicles that Ventac have worked on to date in this secotr have been tractors, however work has also been carried out on multi-functional farm vehicles. The noise reduction strategy for these vehicles is very similar to that used for the lift handling and construction vehicles but the test method is based on the specific European Directive for agricultural vehicle noise.

For agricultural vehicles the main objective, typically, is to reduce the dynamic noise levels at the operators ear as the vehicle is travelling. It is important to consider the different gear set combinations of the vehicle when conducting the test.

The noise control composites used in the cab of the vehicle are designed to reduce the noise effective, to look well within the space and to be hard wearing/easy to clean.
